Dr. Parul Khare Sinha is a Forensic Odontologist and Oral and Maxillofacial Pathologist. She has completed her Masters in Forensic Odontology from K U Leuven, Belgium, and MDS from India. She is certified by HarvardX on 'Child protection' and by WHO in 'Infection prevention and control (IPC) for Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)'. Dr. Parul is heading the unit of Forensic Odontology and working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral Pathology, School of Dental Sciences, and as a member of the 'Centre of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence, in Medicine, Imaging and Forensics' at Sharda University, Greater Noida, India. She has clinical experience working as a GP at Alpha Dental Clinic in Shanghai, China. She has teaching experience as foreign faculty visiting in the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology at Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, and at SRM Chennai, India. She is also adjunct faculty as Forensic Odontologist at Saveetha Dental College Chennai and Saraswati Dental College Lucknow. She has conducted workshops, published papers, and delivered many guest lectures on various topics of Forensic Odontology at both international and national conferences. To mention a few, at the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Government of India; at INTERPOL Forensic Odontology, Sub working group on DVI Conference, Singapore & Lyon; at the American Association of Forensic Sciences conference, Las Vegas, USA. She was course faculty for the Dy.SPs Specialized Basic Training Program at the Central Academy of Police Training in Bhopal. Dr. Parul is the Principal Investigator for the WHO/ITU dental focus group on AI & Oral Health dealing with 'AI in Oral & Maxillofacial Oncology' and has presented her work at WHO conferences in Berlin, Finland, Harvard, and Geneva. Dr. Parul has received the 'Young Scientist Award by SPIC' for her research contributions. She is an editor of various reputed indexed national and international journals and a member of various prestigious Indian scientific societies of Oral Pathology and Forensics.
